So... yeah... haven't written in a while for multiple reasons.
I have been super busy.
I FEEL like I've been super busy, but can't exactly figure out what I've done during the day....
I pretty much live in our apartment and leave to go check the mail or visit the Commissary on the main base.
I am failing at exploring Japan.
I could probably write SOMETHING, but it's been so long that I don't know where to start.
Ay yi yi.
So while I enjoy writing the blog and love that I have people following along and reading, I am not doing this as a full-time writing gig. I know that there are lots of blogs out there where you can count on a new post every other day, once a week, or whatever, that's just not me. I write when I can or when I feel like I have something worth writing about. It may cost me some readers and it may lead people to forget about this blog after a while. But, when I started writing, I started with the hope that one day, my kids could look back and see ME - their mom as a young wife and mother, who was trying to navigate through the world. And sometimes that means that my real-life world is too busy for me to give much time to the virtual one.
I will try to write more soon, and I am going to FORCE myself to get out of this apartment and see more of Japan. Stay tuned. I hope it will be interesting.
You don't suck. Or, if you do, I suck too, because I'm only just getting to this post in my RSS feed. But that's the beauty of RSS -- no matter how frequently you post, or how long it takes for me to get caught up with the interwebs, we'll always eventually find each other! Post when you can, but don't worry if you don't... your fanclub will be here!
