We woke up this morning to the news that 20 small children had been killed at their elementary school in Newtown, CT. Twenty small children. Six adults. Innocent classmates who lived through it. First responders and medical teams who now have to deal with the scene in the school. Christmas presents under trees that won't be opened. Parents who went to pick up their children and had no child waiting for them.
It makes my soul weep. Every scrap of love I can muster today will be sent to those precious children and their families.
